Build it.
Sell it.
Do it again.

A 12-week live cohort for indie builders who want a micro-SaaS that earns on the side — and sells when the time is right. Not a startup. Not a second job.

the sequence

The ordering is everything.

Most founders build first and find out nobody wants it later. The sequence this cohort teaches flips that — you validate before you write a line of code, get feedback while change is cheap, and never spend months polishing something nobody needs.

four idea patterns that work
Pattern 01 · Unbundle

Take one feature from a bloated tool and make it great

Most SaaS is overfeatured. Find the one thing people actually need and strip everything else away.

Pattern 02 · Clone + new niche

Same job, different audience

Proven demand, fresh market. Don't invent the category — just serve a slice of it nobody has bothered with.

Pattern 03 · Directory-first

Build a directory, then sell tools to that traffic

Build the audience before the product. The directory attracts the exact people who'll pay for what comes next.

Pattern 04 · Automation agent

Automate one narrow manual job

Find something people do manually on a computer. Automate exactly that one thing. Charge for the time it saves.

The rule all four share

Start from real pain you already understand. Pick the pattern that fits your skills. Validate before you build.

who this is for
Profile 01

Developers, designers & operators

You can build things — or direct AI to build them. You want to own a product, not just work on someone else's.

Profile 02

People with a day job or clients

You're not looking to quit. You want a product that earns on the side with minimal ongoing maintenance.

Profile 03

Founders building toward exit

You want to build something small, get it earning, and sell it — not grow a team or raise money.

Profile 04

Repeat builders who want a system

You've shipped things before but never got to a clean exit. You want a repeatable process, not a one-off.

Not for

Post-PMF founders or those already running a structured growth team. This cohort works at the zero-to-sellable layer, not the scaling layer.

Moon surface — the exit

Flip it — marketplace, influencer, or direct

The founding cohort rate reflects a first run priced for founders who are willing to give honest feedback in exchange for direct access. It will not repeat at this price. For someone who builds and sells even one small product, this pays back many times over.

common questions
No. Launch MBA is an independent practical education programme. It is not an accredited MBA degree or university qualification. The name reflects the practical, business-school-quality rigour of the content — taught by someone who has delivered entrepreneurship education at MBA level at Surrey Business School.
Sessions are live. The peer dynamic and hot seat format are core to the value. All sessions are recorded so you never permanently miss content if life gets in the way.
You need to be able to ship something — but that no longer requires writing code from scratch. The cohort covers AI-assisted build tools (Cursor, Lovable, Bolt, v0) that let non-developers build working products.
No. Session one covers finding and validating a problem from scratch using social listening tools. You can arrive with an idea, a half-built product, or nothing — all three are workable starting points.
You get the recording. The fortnightly cadence means you have two weeks between sessions to catch up. The cohort is sequential but the pace is designed to be achievable alongside existing work.
Full refund if requested before the cohort start date. After the first session, no refunds are issued. If the cohort is cancelled by Launch MBA, a full refund is provided.
VAT may apply depending on your location and circumstances. The £797 is the base programme fee — VAT status will be confirmed at the payment stage.
The cohort is selected for fit, not credentials. The ideal applicant is actively building, has a specific problem they're working on, and wants to own and sell a product — not grow a company.
